MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC - no POST after BIOS flashback

I'm thinking of taking it somewhere to see if someone can get it to boot off an older cpu and m flash instead. If it won't, i think I'll have my answer on a dead board.

Well after following your directions closely I've sat here with the first boot for about 5 minutes and nothing. I was using hdmi now I'm trying display port. Still no output. I don't even have a debug light on anything.
Did you try a different USB stick - preferably under 16GB if possible?

Do you know anyone else nearby that also has a Ryzen based PC? Would be good to be able to test out the components individually with known working hardware.

I've tried 4. One 32gb two 4 gb and One 16 gb. If it helps, three were lexar and one was SanDisk
I had to ask and it looks like you've exceeded due diligence.

*Did you reset the CMOS (battery method) between each alternate stick?

EDIT: I would also only install 1 stick after flash and as you probably know you sometimes have to wait a few minutes for post (if it works) - several reboots/hiccups until it settles with it's new BIOS.

I did yes. I honestly do think I'm out of things to try.
You certainly can't say you haven't tried.

I added an edit to my above post - but from your replies you've probably tried - but sometimes an odd little quirk gets overlooked when so close to the problem, but you do seem to be running out of options.

Best of luck with whatever you decide on.

I turned it on with one stick, monitor plugged up, keyboard, cpu in, just gonna leave it for a while and see. Imo, it should have no reason not to post unless it's dead. I'm fairly certain updating the bios is working. Low chance both my brand new ram sticks are dead and same for the cpu but i understand its possible. It doesn't seem like psu to me. It's a thermaltake 600W.

Everywhere wanted right at or over 100 dollars to go through it and i had to build the entire pc and bring it to them. Soo just going to try either waiting for amd boot kit or get a replacement board. I'm in the US btw.

Just to clarify, after flashing the BIOS and then installing the CPU did you check the CPU for damage or bent pins etc.?

Or did you flash the board with everything installed?

I flashed the board with nothing, installed everything checked and no. Tried flashing several times with stuff installed and not installed, cpu is in perfect condition physically. Same for ram and everything else.

Now that i thought of it i'd like to mention again the fact that i had zero debug lights during any of the process. I wish i had a speaker for the motherboard to hear any beeps if it does that. Almost everyone i saw that had issues had some kind of error light. Not me. The cpu light came on once during a usb bios flash, but that was it.

Ok so new problem if anyone can help here. I grabbed an x570 Asus Tuf. Got everything plugged in good, turn psu on, led's breathe rainbow, and power button does nothing. Shorting the pins does nothing. No fans spin, no beeps, bug lights, anything at all. My psu worked fine before, and i don't have another one to test, tried ram in different spots, blah blah.

Feel really sorry for you, considering your previous problems and efforts to resolve.

But knowing that you've probably tried most things (from previous posts you're very thorough) - you need to try the thing you're avoiding (understandably) - a skeleton setup outside of the case.

Unless, you have spare components to hand?

That's the first thing i did. The second it came in i had it outside the case, only powering cpu/fan and atx 24. Plus power button to the case. Doesn't even click on like the b450 did, it just does nothing at all. Just It has rainbow led breathing. Tried ram in all slots, either one or two sticks, 3000mhz ddr4 like last time. I only put it in the case with everything as last resort maybe shorting on the desk, maybe wanted everything plugged in. Still a nope which i honestly expected

That's the first thing i did.
Not surprised considering your prior experiences.

Leaves PSU and CPU as most likely suspects - presuming you would have tried both if you had ones to hand.

Which components are new and which are re-used?

*Model/brand of PSU if re-used?
