MSI MAG Tomahawk X870/X870E Owners Thread

Hi everyone I just got this motherboard installed so thought I would get an owners thread going.

Specs are:

MSI MAG Tomahawk X870E
9800x3D
64GB (2x 32GB) Corsair Vengeance 6000 EXPO

One thing I notice is the boot times are RIDICULOUSLY long with this motherboard. I googled to find info and saw advice to update the BIOS, disable all unnecessary boot devices and also to Enable the setting in BIOS called "Memory Context Restore". It made no noticeable difference.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue and did you manage to get it fixed?

@opethdisciple I googled whether both CPU PCI-E cabled were needed in the motherboard and the overwhelming concensus was yes, use both.

It does it every time unless you enable the setting i mentioned, but its had little effect on my boot times.

I havnt got that board but shouldn't take long after first boot

How long is it taking to boot ?
