MSI to release GeForce 9600 GT with 2GB memory

Ive seen bf2 use 700meg of texture and video memory so who knows, I know crysis doesnt need tons of main memory but it does have big textures so...
 
i have the 512mb version of this card the cooler is quite good for the gpu 50c ish load but there is no cooling on the memory and it does look a bit tacky

still prefer it to the single slot noisy reference cooler

did not even consider the 1gb version nevermind a 2gb card

ATI used GDDR4 on 1 card but waste of time as the Memory speed is always lower than Nvidia cards which use GDDR3.

2 cards actually, and the lack of timings was offset by the extra clock frequency.
 
To be aimed squarely at joe public in your local PC shop purchasing a graphics card..

2GB?? Wow, it must be 4 times as good as that other one with 512MB!
