Guess I'm alone on this one.
Looks to me like some stereotypical eastern small saloon with a lairy bodykit. Strange, as I rather liked the old Type-R.

I love it! 5 doors is spot on imo.

From the front it reminds me of a newish Evo and from the back of a Teg.

Whats the square 'Formula 1' type light on the back for anyways?

Is its a brake light of some sorts?

They're still using the K20(a) lump though? I can't help but feel it won't be as fun in that chassis compared to the EP3.

Still, the DC5s are considered an EP3 upgrade and they're a bigger car with more or less the same engine.

I love the styling of this Civic. If I needed the 4 doors I really would consider it.

Only 20k? So this thing is really a rival to things like Focus ST's and Golf GTi's instead of Evo's, Impreza's and R32's which is what i expected them to be priced against.

240bhp, screaming VTEC, awesome looks, probably damn good handling...

for under 20k? Can't complain!

To import the standard JDM 2007 Civic Type-R it comes in at about £22/23k. So they're pricing this around the price of the standard thing?! I doubt that.

Strange i know, but once all the import tax + overheads etc is added on it'll probably make it to about 25k. ps3ud0 did the conversion and it came to £19.3k.

Yeah thats just for the car - adding all the costs to get it shipped will probably be around

£19300 Car
£700 Shipment
£2000 Import Duty 10%
£3850 VAT
£200 Shipping Agent Fee
£50 Customs
£38 Car Registration Fee
£300 SVA Preparation
£180 SVA Test
£30 UK Number Plates
£40 MOT Test

£26688 Total - probably £27-£28 realistically...

Figures from here so might not be up-to-date...
