Its the rise of social media, echo Chambers and small group mentality.

There's always been idiots out there but now that all have tools to propagate their message so effectively
The world is going backwards. Countries are working alone against everyone else. Like at USA putting up it's barriers and UK leaving the EU.
And things like this only help that.
Having said that I do fear the rise of Islam in our culture. Any other religion is now so watered down it isn't an issue. And usually a couple of generations in Islam isn't. And most people are obviously fine. But it's very interpretation and the way women are treated etc.. It's not great to have it growing so fast
Is sad religion is such a divider and you get pockets of culture within a culture.
This stuff just fuels the us/them thing. And I can't blame people. Excluding the US you can almost guarantee these events are linked to Islam. Then world leaders amplify it? Its understandable people are fearful of it

As my parents used to say; "Two wrongs don't make a right". There were huge protests in this country over the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. "Not in my name" etc. People today refer to Blair as the war criminal. So to use the actions of politicians, against the will of the people, as justification for terrorism against those innocent people is a bit of deflection and excuse making. Furthermore Austria was not part of that coalition.
There is no excuse for Islamic extremist attacks on civilians anywhere. Making excuses is just victim blaming and deflection to defend that religion.

It really isn't. This is a great example of losing an argument and resorting to racist name calling.
You're essentially saying "it's our fault", you are making excuses for a terrorist attack, you are saying it's our fault, you are apologising; you are an apologist. I hope that clears it up.
There is no excuse for shooting dead random people in Vienna, it's nothing to do with a war in Iraq. The attack was in Vienna, a city in Austria, Austria wasn't even part of the coalition. STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR MURDERERS.
