Also bought the DJI Care Refresh with this being my first drone lol

Hopefully get some flight time this weekend. Any Android apps which are a must to show the no fly zones/etc?

i use drone assist which seems pretty good

take my word of advice

Maplin customer service is not good

dropped my Mavic pro off 10 days ago with a motor failure or ESC failure, with all accessory's, called customer service today and they have no update only that i dropped it into store

said they will update me when they have had a look at it, i asked how long it will take (only got it in june prob two hour use in that time) to be told they have no idea.

Had a interesting one the other day on firework night. Out in back garden watching the fireworks when all of a sudden hear lots of buzzing and a out of control drone flys over the top of us. (About 10 ft) and slams into next doors garage wall.

We went to have a look and it was a dji phantom.

Few minutes later we were milling about the front talking to our neighbours about it when a car rolled up asking if something had crashed nearby.

Anyway next door gave it back in its mangled state. Turns out this person was 2 streets away. I took a pic of his car and reg. Reckon it's worth reporting to police?

Just got an email from DJI saying they've replaced my sparks mainboard and have shipped it back to me today so should have it back on Monday, that's not too bad considering I only sent it back just under 2 weeks ago, also shows that buying a "grey import" still gets warranty

Urgent information needed anyone taken there drone on an Easyjet flight as carry on I have read you can carry drone on the plane issue I have is with battery

Just stick the batteries in Lipo safe bags and you should be fine.
