If there's one place I know I will get comprehensive and unbiased news, it's some racist old dude calling himself a historian on Youtube, who can only manage to read a headline of a dubious right-wing source which takes a brief quote in video completely out of context for clickbait... Honestly who watches this trash on Youtube?
I'm not Sadiq's biggest fan but in the video that LBC posted he is merely aligning summer holidays/heatwave with more trouble on the streets. Which is true, and always is, every year. More importantly he then goes on to explain how the government is blocking his requests for more officers etc. and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't be bothered to regurgitate that lays the blame at the government rather than the Mayor. I'm not saying he's not to blame at all, or the government 100% is, but a little wider perspective is always useful.

I believe you confuse causation with correlation, single mother households are correlated with criminality but they are not the underlying cause.
I dont know what you believe is the underlying cause, but the answer is always, genetics.

You believe reduced quality familial upbringing is the cause for increased criminality.
This is false, this is the confusion between correlation and causation.
Instead, a combination of traits the person has, makes them both, a bad parent, and predisposed to various criminal behaviors.
The causes are well understood and they are based on genetics, the solution is eugenics.
