Muscle building

im not a veggie but my wife is and i find the quorn chicken pieces actually taste better than real chicken.

they soak up flavour like a sponge, combine them with a pepper, chillies, some mushrooms, onions and the reggae regggae fajita mix pack, which comes with tortillas, spice mix and sauce mix and you have one of the best home made meals i have ever tasted and takes literally 15-20 minutes to make start to finish.

on the whole though we do tend to eat a lot of vegetables, spinach and lentils, recently tried cabbage in a mix veg biriyani and it was amazing.

if i feel the veggie meal doesn't have enough protein in it, then i have a shake to compensate.
 
Was looking forward to joining this thread... Now not so much.

+1 for the frozen chicken. I drink two large shakes a day, in addition to as many eggs/turkey slices/chicken breasts/nuts as I can handle. Progress is slow as I'm trying to avoid bulk, but definitely real.

You need carbs when building muscle, unless you're one of the very few who doesn't feel like **** on no carbs.

I skip all carbs except for those found in fruit, veg and so on... Completely avoid putting unnecessary carbs like bread, pasta etc into my body, and feel great for it.
 
Muscle Food are great - massive breasts, so much so my wife and I can share one in a meal when we'd two or more from Sainsburys. The pre-wrapped rump steaks are great too as an alternative meat in stif frys etc.

It also feel super manly to get 5kg of chicken arrive at your door!

Well depending on how much fruit and veg you're eating you could still be going over 50g carbs a day which is above what low carb is.

Completely cutting out carbs is different from getting 50+g a day.
 
Outline, you'd make better progress using a timed carb approach. Restricting all carbs entirely except those found in fruit & veg is more of a hinderance to your growth than you think.

News just in: Quorn tastes better than chicken because its good at soaking up other flavours to hide its own.

Mine arrived yesterday, 1 or 2 of the ice packs exploded during transit leaving everything rather soggy! That said, the chicken looks great!

Just had a thought, what happens if i cant get anyone to stay at home and sign for it... will i recieve gone off chicken lol?
 
No, the packaging is apparently able to keep it chilled enough to keep it good for 72 hours.
 
I see did anyone use Yodel or pay extra for UPS? i've not had bad experiences using Yodel but i know people who have and its making me wonder
 
never mind went for Yodel, due to ordering from TPW last week and it came next day when it should have been 3-5 days.
