MWC 2011 - Its started!

Anyone else get a little annoyed that MS don't check their messages/email before taking screenshots of their UI?:(

(Yeah probably a bit OCD...):p

I'd like to have a play with the LG 3D phone, could be fun!

this is what concerns me about all these android pads,

Joe Public... "hey look a ipad copy that costs more".... i think i will get an ipad

That probably where this logic deceives - Android based devises start to carry their own weight so they wont necessarily aim to undercut Apple but try to challenge their segment of the market. This is probably why the latter is planning at introducing a cheaper iphone(nano), as a sort of a retaliatory measure (at least this is how it looks to me when I heard about it).

Regarding the new tabs, we are yet to see the actual prices so its hard to speculate. Whatever they are, its quite likely that we will get ripped off compared to the US but what can you do...Anyway, even if the new devises cost more than the ipad(it might be logical from specs point of view), they should go down in price when Apple takes out the next generation. If Im not mistaken, the Galaxy tab came out with a pretty steep price tag and is now about half the initial price so even if there is some doom and gloom, it shouldnt be for long.

i know what your saying, but prices have started to be confirmed, best buy are pre listing the xoom for $800 and we all know we wont get the current exchange rate :D it will be more like £800!

Watching the live blog on Androidcentral, it looks like thats the lot.

I'm due for upgrade at the end of June and will expect a little more than a simple refresh of my Desire.

they are complete tools if they don't offer something with a rival spec to the other top brands, the desire v Galaxy S last year was a great example..

samsung upgrade the phone and spec then HTC don't - poor show!

The Revolver is an unknown, has potential but other than that it looks like SGS2 for me more than likely until next year's quad core lineup.

At least with the SGS2 you know you're getting an amazing camera too for video recording considering justhow good the SGS1 camera is and the 2 is 1080p too!

And no Gingerbread at launch? WTF? So I guess Desire/HD users have to wait even longer for a Sense 2.3 release...

HTC Fail. Their Facebook wall is currently not getting any likes at all too :p

They appear to be interested in having a phone for every pocket and not leading the market any more. Heads buried in the sand with Sense. Samsung must be laughing at the 7” tablet. It will be their loss and not ours.

Looking at it over the scope of say 18-24 months from now I think HTC "might" have something cooking with Qualcomm with quad core processors. Their MWC line-up was poor and while it's quite a sad lineup I think it was intentional and may lead up to 2012's quads?

Would make some sense at least since they're inline with Qualcomm after all.

Boooo HTC!

I have been an avid HTC owner since 2005, apart from a brief stint with an Xperia X1, and really wanted to see their answer to the SGS2/Atrix.

Looks like Moto/Sammy will be getting my money this year. :(

Actually, having read the pentile stuff about the Atrix, looks like the SGS2 will be my new phone.

Bit annoying as I really wanted Tegra and a 4" screen, but no point having those (and a higher screen res) if everything will look fuzzy and darker.

Atrix has the bootloader locked, i think the Dev's will pick up the SGS2, which will make it the phone for me.

2010 was about GalaxyS v Desire...
2011 GalaxyS2 v Desire with makeup on!!
