LOLHTC...what an utter fail from them...doesnt seem like they are really bringing anything new...i was looking forward to seeing what sort of new hardware they were going to bring.

So far looks like the Samsung Galaxy 2 seems to be the best android handset out in the next few months...not that i really care but it would have been nice to see what sort of new handsets HTC would have brought out this yr....unless they are playing things close to their chest and not letting the cat out of the bag so to speak....

^ The SGS2 looks stunning! The 2X will make a great bargain buy 6 months down the line (LG say they've got a new Android build which fixes instability btw)

It's a real shame the (1 year old) Desire has just received this minor update, maybe in 6 months time they plan to refresh the whole Desire lineup with 3rd gen snapdragons, good screens?

Hmm so it does, with the possibility of getting 2.4 as well although HTC say that's down to Google (a bit strange).

I saw the notification bar at the top and it was an exact replica of the pre Ginberbread Sense bars that I assumed they weren't shipping 2.3 with it - Wonder why they didn't keep the 2.3 icons up there, they're much nicer tbh.
 
Poor showing from HTC indeed, no worth mentioning any of their phones. The Desire S is just a Desire inside a Wildfire's body, which is quite nice though.

Surely they'll have something else up their sleeve in the coming months, because I need something to spend money on :)

Yeah, I said that above, really annoying isn't it? I mean, the SIGNATURE doesn't give it away either.
 
Backberries aren't all that anyway :p I'm having a hard time getting through the Torches at work with the way RIM have plastered menu options all over the place - Highly illogical ftl!

I think HTC will release something a bit better in the months to come but for me i'll be getting the new Samsung GS2 i'll get what ever gets her first.
Strange Vodaphone is listing the HTC Desire S, ChaCha etc...but not the new SGS2.
