Glad the tip came in handy. Make sure you don't let them slip and do yourself a mischief though

Seats look very smart.
Really enjoy your step by step guide through's. Certainly help me, keep up the good work. Just the drivers seat I've replaced, which is probably just as well as passengers seat is a lot more forgiving for people of different waist lines.

Love your car Dorje. The mods work really. Although I'm after a cheqp fun car, I dunno how I can hold off modding if I get one.
What are your next plans?
Cheers, I can't see myself doing much more with the exterior. I do have one of those Cabring tow hooks to fit, but it's a bit of hassle on mk2's. Having said that, an AutoExe exhaust has just caught my eye lol
I don't really have any immediate big plans for the car really, quite happy atm. However I'll probably upgrade to P5/GAZ suspension in a year or two, that way I can see how they compare from owners experience and my current suspension setup will probably want replacing then anyway.
FI wise I'm not really interested for a few years yet, insurance companies would probably laugh down the phone at my age. For now I'm quite happy thrashing it when I want my laughs, short of a kit car I don't think you could have more fun with 120-140hp.
Edit: As you can see I started to waffle on about mods. In short, no you will not be able to hold off modding a 5. In fact I suspect it is harder to find a standard mk1 than one modified.
Looking very tidy but cant help but think it'd look better with some wheel spacers on!
Thanks and oh me too! I do actually have some spacers in my garage which I picked up locally on the cheap. 20mm on the rear and 10mm for the front, I just need to find out what size lugs the MX5 uses and it should sit a little better in the arches.
