Youre a crazy mother****er.
I've got some good tyres on mine too, but I've no idea what to do when it steps out.
Friend of mine has just had his mk3 roof slashed up big time. Anyone know how much it should cost for a retrim or new roof? I got my mk2 done for £120 8 years ago at jack Smith trimmers in Swansea.
So how are people finding their 5s in this weather? I feel like I might die every time I leave the house...

Get out somewhere Private & practise getting the back out & holding it as it's real controllable in a 5. Little bit of opposite lock & throttle control is all it takes & it's great fun, Once sorted you'll be a better driver as well.
Doing a drift golf day with these guys taught me, safe/controlled environment and they really push you to your limits
Fine actually - got 4 new Rainsport 3s on and it sticks to the road perfectly. I can drift it in first if I really want to but I have to really try!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will probably go to that Drift place, looks great!!
I have some Continental Premium Contact 5s.
Saw the new MX-5 today for the first time on the road. Looks great!
Pick this up tuesday...
Congrats both, would love to swap my Mk2 for a MK4!Should be picking up a brand new 2.0l Sport-Nav, Jet Black with black leather and safety pack (includes blind spot monitoring etc) next week. Test drove several different cars, but it was the MX-5 that had me not wanting the test drive end.
