I like the looks of the standard 3dr Escort GTi. However, I don't like that. The front bumper looks silly, the rear bumper looks out of place (hello, it's not a Mondeo) and please, fix the number plate spacing.

You did ask... :p

Im no escort fan, but it does look pretty good.

Change that plate though... you loose points for that ;p

115hp/ton with Hydragas suspension, in a car so enclosed that even I, of a towering 5' 6", cannot fit comfortably in.

I'd be bricking it! :p

Have to agree. The standard late model GTI or RS2000 are best looking ones. If it were me thats what I'd be aiming toward.

Also, I dont own a Mondeo. I did but a van rear ended me at around 35-40mph when I was stationary and made a "bit" of a mess of it so it's in car heaven.

I wasnt having a go at your car, just wondered why you have stuck a load of mondeo stuff on it instead of buying a mondeo. I now know why, so it's around 1-1.5secs faster to 60 than normal.

Do you use the same gearbox with the mondeo lump or use a mondeo gearbox too?

Yes same 1800 'Box, Flywheel + Clutch.

At the end of the day it's not to everyones taste but you don't modify your car so everyone else likes it, you modify it to how YOU want it and thats what I've done!!

Currently looking for some 17"+ Wheels, thought about RS7's possibly if not then spome 5/6 flat spoke alloys (Kahn RSR's or the like)

It's not a street fighter front bumper its an evotech one as seen on ESPdesign.

The original styling of the GTi is nice yes, but it is just a standard GTi kit I wanted it to look a bit more original and feel the lines do flow along the kit although not perfect.
Spoiler I'm not currently sure about, the back end is a bit lower than the rest but I don't want to go 'chav'

Yes my car has air-con!

Its good. The rear bumper is a little big for my liking, but you have done a clean job. £700 for an engine conversion is pretty good too. I dont think it needs anything else doing to it....please dont add any decals!! :D
