With Zen platform even memory setting can be a little challenging, but if you don't aim at anything super fast, with new BIOS you should be good by just enabling XMP/DOCP profile. Just keep in mind that it may be problematic with current BIOSes as they are not super mature yet.

Just to update, I finanlly figured out a fix for my 5950X temps.
Under edit power plan in windows, select change advance power settings.
Scroll down to Max Processor state and change from 100% to 99%.
This produced temps that were normal between the 30-35 at idle.
hopefully this will help someone out.
