I'm well aware that some people report an unusual draining of batteries when in supposedly haunted locations. This still doesn't mean your alarm clock not working is proof of some kind of supernatural entity.
Which is more likely?
A) People have spirits that can live on after death. A dead person's spirit has become somehow tethered to your house and somehow has managed to drain the energy stored within one of your batteries.
B) Batteries run down. Your battery ran down.
