My arse hurts :(

I once wheelied my bike and looped out basically slamming down on concrete at the park in front of my kids, also hurting my tail bone. I can remember the pain. I thought I had broken something but it was just bruising.

I did that the other month, I just lay there for a while feeling sorry for myself.
I should know better at my age really :D

Until Friday. I slipped down the stairs at home and fell on my tail bone. I've not been able to sit or stand correctly since as every movement hurts like hell. Even getting in and out of the car I look like I'm a hundred years old.
I did the same thing a long time ago and can sympathise with you, even if the rest of the forum is laughing at you.

You probably don't want to hear this, but it took a good year or two for my coccyx pain to go away. I'm not offering medical advice here, but the only thing that helped my pain was Naproxen.

The thread title reminded me of an old joke; a kid comes home from school and tells his dad that he had sex with his teacher.
Dad’s so proud that he tells the kid that he’ll buy him a bike.
The kid said that he’d rather have a train set, his bum still hurts and he’d rather not sit on a saddle.

Oh god, that's hilarious.

@Diddums I've had all sorts of arse-related operations. They don't get easier or less painful.

That made me cringe reading that. Busting my coccyx is one of my worst fear, I feel for you man! I fell off the bed when I was a kid and landed on the pointy dial thing on the end of the radiator, bang on the coccyx - that properly hurt.

If you’ve hurt your spine or coccyx go see a dr, hopefully it’s just bruised but if it’s wrong and then heals incorrectly you could be setting yourself up for a lifetime of pain
