yeah all vehicles and anti aircraft are on the map all the time, so if your getting owned by an anti air/ground then you can see where he is and try and go around him.

I agree, best die fighting in the Tank, at least it will spawn back in your half of the map. Do not let the enemy use your weapons at all. Denie them every thing you can. When get to enemy camps i lay mines under their tracks / wheels, or just take their tank and park it some where different. Again with mine near it.

over the weekend im going to write some more about squads,maps and go into more detail for the medic/support guys.

I was thinking about maybe putting this guide on some other bf2 forums but wanted to kinda gather all the info together so its more organised.

So if theres anything you want me to add then email me or just reply and ill add it in there (im gunna add all that tank info)

some plane and heli info would be good, ill try and write as much as i can.. but i think the hardest thing to do in a heli is to kill the other one with those tv missiles! after you master that the heli is a killing machine and you can easier get like 70/80-5/10 every round.

also if anyone wants to write up and email me about the assault/sniper/engy then feel free and ill add that too.

What about console commands, do you have any useful, like crosshairs reduction?

Most games have them but no ones seems to know this one

im guessing your the same person that made the thread about that?

Yeah i know what you mean tho mate, i used to play rtcw/et and i could seriosly almost change anything i wanted visual wise, i not 100% on this one but im sure its because EA want everyone to have the same settings etc so people dont have an advantage etc. but personally i dont think changing things for your personal likes/dislikes shouldnt be allowed..

one thing i can say tho is at default bf2 runs at 100fps and i REALLY want to change this because i think the problem i have and a lot of other person were there talking about jerking etc is when there fps is say dropping from 90/100 to 30/40.

PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO CAP MY FPS WITHOUT HAVING TO DO IT EVERYTIME I LOAD BF2!

That is a good Question, how do you cap FPS ! ? ? :confused:

well the command is game.lockfps "80" etc but that only caps the fps when your in game and the moment you close bf2 and open it again its back to 100, so there must be a command line in the config somewere thats telling it to be 100? renderer.drawfps is to show the fps aswell if you wanna know that, but the same thing when you close you lose..

One thing that i noticed while i was in the console is if you hit tab (1 or 2 times) then it comes up with the possible commands then when you have say typed game. you hit tab again and it shows you all the game. commands..

I think this is down to ea or whatever not wanting you to change game content for what they would say is 'an unfair advantage' so they force everyone to have the same settings.. pretty dumb imo tho because there are so many settings that you can change in fps's that help with lag and other issues like that..

I would like to be able to change the crosshair because i dont like these 'cs' style ones.. im used to having just a dot..much easier to aim at people with that

Must admitt that a red dot is easyer to aim the that big cross hair on the sinper rifle.
