I hate to skimp on a mouse, having to switch between my CM storm sentinel and cheapo mouse is just torture. People seem to think "it's just a mouse" but a good quality mouse is sooo much better
Almost everything comes from China nowadays.
My Gigabyte (well know brand ?) M6900 mouse was made in China.
My Microsoft (well know brand ?) Sidewinder X6 keyboard was made in China.
Don't mix "branded" made in China great Western concepts ans "no name" (SunSonny) made in China weak Chineese fakes.
But if moussie stopped working - so yes, send it back and open a case. Next time buy something here in UK (or EU), to avoid such expensive and long-lasted RMA*
* RMA depends on brand, most "lovely" is Asus RMA service
You could buy a very basic MS or Logitech mouse for not much more than that even if on a budget and it would last for ages. And you may as well buy a basic one as a cheap Chinese gaming mouse has less real and lasting functionality than a basic two button mouse. When it says DPI on the ad on Ebay it means DOA.
It's worth saving up a little bit for a decent mouse, after all it's going to be used as much as all the expensive kit inside your PC.
Lol this is funny! We all say buy a trusted brand and say the cheapo china brands are **** but oh look its my naga razor mouse *looks on the underside... made in china* surprise! guess mine will only last a few more days then *touch wood frantically*
However on a more serious note, you get what you pay for. I've only ever used razor and logitech stuff and both have been amazing to me well almost however my logitech did pass away last year.
