because its shiny

removed the chargecooler and haven,t put the clips back on yet as i was trying to locate the chargecooler header tank
And you cant see how much water is in it!

Never seen the point in them myself, got some better pictures of the car and more information?

Its a clio 1.8 engine with modded crank, arrow steel rods ,wossner 8.5 to 1 forged pistons, wire ringed block, big valved ported head, some piper turbo spec cams, hybrid T28 turbo, pace charger cooler, air oil cooler and lots of other bits and pieces.

output will be between 350/400bhp.
performance is yet unknown.
car is a very highly modded clio maxi replica.

makes 320bhp without cams and headwork. bb tuning sell this kit with either a 250bhp or a 320bhp map.

will post results once i,ve run it in.

as said just because you added cams dont mean the turbo can flow more air, a t28 will struggle to flow much over 300bhp it just cant supply the engine with enough air.
and as you would hopefully know air + fuel being burnt = power peak power is achieved around 12.5:1 afr (but lets say 10.5:1>11:1 on a turbo for cooling properties) if you cant get the air in no matter what cam what headwork you got you aint getting that figure, too small a turbo will be like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose ;)

hence why i am running a t3 exhaust t4comp .63 ar turbonetics roller bearing turbo in my 306, a t28 just wouldnt do ;)

Engine looks really nice, projected power figures do seem a little optomistic TBH.

But fairplay, should be fun

I've got to be honest though, there is a bit of a whif of BS in here ;)

Post more pics of the car and engine, with the obligitory loaf of bread ;)

1.8 litre  I thought they only did 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0L engines for the Clio's?

Agreed with others that power estimates sound a bit optimistic.

clio 16vs are 1.8 same engine as i had in my 19 16v,
clio williams are 2l.

drop a clio/r19/megane derv crank in a 1.8 and you have a 2l aswell :)

whats the obligatory loaf of bread
take a pic with a loaf of bread on the engine :) it proves your no bs'ing as its very random and your unlikely to be able to google a pic of an engine with a loaf of bread on :)

just the forums way of weeding out the bs'ers we get quite a few here
regards
Andy
