I'm sorry to hear that your father has passed away, Vita :( At least you can take comfort that you were with him when he died, and that he died peacefully.

Sounds like he was lucky to of chosen you and you were lucky to be picked by him and not only did he have a good innings but had a good final 20 odd years with you :)

Losing a parent is a thing you dread and its like a sledgehammer when it happens. It certainly was for me.

The only advice I can offer is that friends, family and good memories get you through.

So sorry for your loss Vita, my condolences to you and your family. As others have said ninety is an amazing age to of lived to.
 
Sorry to hear your sad news Vita. I'm currently in the same situation with my Father passing away on the 6th of December.

I can't offer you any advice, but I'm sure you'll agree that at the moment life is very surreal with one of the people you could always turn to advice suddenly being missing.
 
I lost my Mum to cancer last year at the age of 49 after she was given a few months to live, we had to bring my wedding forward and everything, she then died 3 days after i told her she was going to be a grandmother.... i know its a hard times, But listen he's 90 years old and has seen more life than most of us could ever hope for... so just be thankful for that!!! Good luck. Imo god has been kind to him giving him so much life.
