my dominator cooling blocks have been binned

But surely if he has a note from the postman saying it was put in a bin there is some sort of comeback?

got a reply from ek this morning....

Dear Customer,

I am sorry to read about your inconvenience.
I am here to solve this, so you dont pay what you did not get.

Of course we have ordered the service, where you need to sign for the parcel.
We will imediatelly file in an inquiry at ur post office.
Once we get the inquiry back we will be able to take actions against the post.
We cant say how long it may take, but I would expect it will take mmore than 1 or 2 weeks.

We will notify you imediatelly after we get it and will contact you if we will need more information.
We ask you for your patience.

Best regards, EK Support

Eh, nope... You know the delivery failed through no fault of yours. Get back onto ek and either demand a new delivery ASAP or your money back. As some said, your contract is with ek not RM, you have paid your money the delivery contract isn't yours. No excuses, two weeks is far too long.

I agree. Get a refund or replacement "NOW." Then let EK claim their money back from RM... it was EK who hired RM and their contract is with each other. Your simply the end user if you like.

I've had stuff left in my blue bin before, but I've always left a note on the door telling them to do this... so never been an issue and I of course always come home, see the note and get it :)

that is poor show from EK, ideally they should have replaced it immediately for your convenience and claimed from RM after that - not the other way round

i agree it is a bit poor
i will get back on to them tomorrow...the email i sent them also had the original order details that got binned and also i had just re-ordered more blocks from them so it had those details to plus an attachment of the red slip with parcel in blue bin on it so they had all the info.

Where are they based? Horrible spelling if thats a copy paste.

problem is, from royal mail's point of view it has been deliverd. which is a load of crap.

also the email from ek didnt fill me with confidence. i would get on royal mail urself and kick up ****.

Slovenia.

Their English is probably a lot better than your Slovenian ;)

Actually, probably not as i have been taught quite a lot of it by my Slovenian girlfriend, even before we 'hooked up' as shes a friend of about 10yrs, i can carry on a conversation in the language quite easily and be understood. They could try a little more imo with their spelling etc... as its official communication as far as i'm concerned.

As to the OP, since you haven't signed for it, how can RM say its been delivered?

In that case their written English sounds like it would be a lot better than your written Slovenian.

Whilst the spelling and grammar is pretty poor, the CS is, on the whole, decent

i know u baught direct from ek, but mayby anyone at ocuk has a contact that they look into it for u?

OcUK don't really come into this. EK have pretty good CS so the OP'll be fine (even thought the English is a bit dodgy)

I bought them from ek because they were the only ones that had nickel plexi x4 dominator blocks...
I will email them again tonight asking this time for a full refund as I have already re ordered from ek because I want to get my rig finished.
With any luck they will do this and then when I get my last piece of the puzzle this week I will post some pics up of my now VGA,CPU,VRM,MOSFET,southbridge, ram x2 water chilled pc :)

Why didn't you ask OcUK to buy them in from EK for you?

Saves a lot of hassle and somehow rjk manages to get the prices for the blocks lower than competitor's and EK?!

Sure they'd need to find out whether it has been delivered first. Otherwise whats to stop me receiving stuff then saying I've not had the goods to get a refund.

Also states the goods required a signature on delivery:

Of course we have ordered the service, where you need to sign for the parcel.

This is just pure incompetence on RM's behalf. First off, parcels that need a sig actually require a sig, be it neighbour or relative, spouse etc. Pretty sure the bin cannot sign for stuff.

Then you get into the issue of actually leaving stuff in a bin :confused:Seriously how dumb can you get. There's no smiley for what the OP must be feeling right now.

it is a signed delivery service, and the OP hasnt signed for it - wouldnt that be the evidence that it hasnt be delivered?

Yes, but it's not evidence that it's been lost.

I'm sure EK will want confirmation from Royal Mail as to what happened.
