No not at all, I can appriciate the E39 and especially the look of the E60. But the look of that front is sleak and mean at the same time. I also love the look of the Audi Quattro too.

depends what you grew up with. being an 80s child, i think stuff like the e28 is absolutely ace

Well if you like 'em get one bought. I don't think they can get any cheaper, given how rare they are. Plus values for good E30s are way up so I think its just a matter of time before the same happens for the desirable E28s (535i and 528i).

Yep, a nice E34 M5 with throwing stars is a great looking car. Since I drove a E34 535i Sport my dreams have been crushed though as the driving position is no good for tall drivers.

I'm fairly certain that there are many more people on here who are completely ambivalent about E39s than there are who utterly adore them. Though I'll admit that the sheer amount of bandwidth used to accuse Fox et al of being focused solely on E39s and Mondeos could conceivably indicate otherwise....

Well i wouldn't rank it as a classic, and there are cars which are better, £400 was a bit excessive, but I wouldn't pay thousands of pounds of my own money for it.

And I didn't, as I signed up with an account I rarely check, I shall now, thanks.
