Lovely car...I remember when mine told me that oil pressure had dropped - just wait till you hear the buzzer that sounds.... it's bloody noisy!!

here's hoping you never hear it!

I remember in my mates mk2 16v, that bloody buzzer! Its not even a constant buzz its all over the place.

Right, so the very first thing you need to do is get a black VW badge for the grille. That will change the whole look of the car. :)

I'll dig out a pic of my last Mk2 GTI, so you'll get some ideas in your head. :)

finally got round to take pics of my 1st car, still havent even started my lessons yet :p

Should start a new thread.

Nice cars, got a 1.4 zetec climate myself!

What litre? Is that a scuff on the back bumper? Just re checked, just a refelection.

900 pound, hmm you could have baught something a lot newer with better braking, handling, kit and safety rating. youll probs get your moneys worth out of it if you look after it

i bought a 97' fiesta mk4 1.8d LX with 79k + fsh for £575 about a year ago

its 1.4, cant take it out yet as road tax has ran out and parents dont want me re-newing it till i've had a few lessons, then i'm allowed to take it out for a spin :D

Good choice of first car but £900 with no rev counter, manual windows and 17 years old - whoever sold you that must be laughing.
