My first F1

Well I had a bloody awesome time! Got a tad wet but thanks to grandstand seats (bus stop chicane) managed to stay dry for the most part on saturday. Loved the noise and the smell!! Button didn't disappoint and gave us plenty of ammo to throw at the Ferrari supporters. It's was great running up the finish straight after the race to watch the trophy presentations. I got a few decent shots which I'll upload tonight.

Got to see some good action in the GP2 races as well, 3 cars abreast up Eau Rouge!! Those guys have giant ones!

There is commentary of all support races on radio Silverstone (and over the tannoys, although those get drowned out).

Like I said, we hired one once and thought it was pointless. The large screens show you exactly what the normal tv coverage shows, with the benefit being that you are looking at the cars actually on the track. With a Kangaroo TV you are starring downwards and might as well not even be at the circuit.

Agreed, we got one at Silverstone this year as we thought with the tyres and so many stops we might lose track, soon found myself watching the screen more than the track so never even took it on race day, was handy for live timing but most phones can do that now anyway :)
