While they may improve night vision of the car's driver, they blind other road users. Does anyone else find that?

Only when some prat in an SUV is behind me :(

I got the retrofit angel eyes on mine because the standard lights where shocking, I admit I have never had xenons but I find the lights on the e39 more than adequate.

doesnt stop them looking very nice indeed though fox you get them for a good price? :)

Welcome to the Xenon club Fox. Looking good.

Don't pay attention to the nay sayers. Xenon envy is a terrible thing.

As much as I like your car fox, I have to agree with Nathan. I find them to be very blinding and don't like them because of that.

Me too, but as someone else on this forum said - if you can't beat them join them. I personally have some Philips Visonplus, good bulbs but obviously nowhere near the brightness of HIDs. £200 cheaper, though.

Again, set up right they shouldn't have that effect. Most blinding HIDs are either badly set up, or they're cheap aftermarket kits wedged into conventional reflectors, with glare spots everywhere.

No, not if they are aligned correctly.

the amount of people with wrongly aligns lights is worrying

coming down the m5 the other night and it was slightly misty, so you could see the beams of the other cars' lights coming the other way. I saw a couple where the beams actually went up! and loads that were level-ish, not pointing down. Sucks when you are in a low car too :( 4x4 drivers blinding me in my wing mirrors

I wasn't never a big fan of 5 series, especially the very new ones. However, that one looks pretty nice.

What else is on the list of things to do? Remap? Spray bumpers? Lowered?

My list of mods:

Full ICE install
Stainless Exhuast/Gruppe-M induction
AC Shnitzer mirrors
Possibly some 18's but I quite like the standard wheels
250bhp remap.

Only super-urgent mods are the ICE and the induction/exhuast.. plenty of time for the rest.
