hope this works  yay it works well this is my overclock anything wrong there or do i just keep cranking up the fsb

Put your fsb straight to 334. I have yet to see an E6600 that couldn't do 3 gig on stock vcore.

**Edit** just realised you have a foxconn - better take your time then ;)

best check the cooling, thermal compound and what the bios allows you to do

well i just got a new pc... and had to get a new intel heatsink

thats cooling

EDIT: new pc as in... just build 1... new motherboard and that :)

That CPU can get up to anywhere between 3.6 and 4Ghz on air with a decent mobo. Just watch out for your memory if you're still using the stuff from your Dell board. Mine is made by Hyundai

am useing dell hard drive, dell chip, dell cd rw :p

EDIT: board is... ASrock 775i65g and it says untied overclocking and stuff about FSB

Ah well I don't know much about that particular board but my Asrock DUAL-VSTA can't get higher then 300 while remaining reasonably stable unless you resort to volt mods.

But with a multiplier of 14 you really don't need that high a FSB. Try cranking it up to 250 and see if it boots ;)

If that works then take it up in stages of 10 to see where it stops becoming stable.
