yeah its £100 though - and Ive had this CPU up at 3ghx on this board, just seems flipping strange it should bog out on me like it has! :mad:

Epox 9NPA+ Ultra is £70, not as good as the DFI though

yeah well, Im in 3 minds at the moment about it all...

1) Just get a DFI-Ultra-D and overclock this puppy
2) Spend more and get a DFI-XFire so I then have the option of 2 cards
3) Wait a while and get a conroe based system, leave this mobo/cpu/ram combo at the 2.6ghz overclock Ive managed and sell it on ...

sell your current mobo on ebay and then get yourself an ultra-D!

yeah I think Im gonna have to sell this board to raise some funds, but Im just not sure if its worth buying an xfire capable board, with a view to upgrading with a master card at some point?

nah i wouldnt bother, you probably never would xfire anyway, i had an sli mobo, never sli'd so now back on the ultra-d :cool:

yes I think you're right, by the time I get round to buying a master card it'll probably be worth going to AM2 or Conroe anyway, with Vista and DX10

I have another Opteron 144 thats not being used atm, its going into a SFF project I have, it it clocks anything like this one then the system should bring some nice £££ on the bay
