My First Water Cooled Build

That's correct - import tax of 100 too. I think Schizo got a few more extras with his too. He's looking to sell if you are interested :)

Plenty of room there. You should get some shrouds on those rads.

That case is a beauty. Am loving build.

Many thanks. Am murdering the braiding at moment - total noob at it and have already knackered a fan (pulled off the live wire trying to squeeze three wires through 3 mm braid - need to solder!). Will do same tomorrow and then post some pics of the hardware. GPU water blocks came today though.

Does anyone have the same problem as me, in thatr the braid keeps unravelling as you push the wire through? I've ended up having to put a fair bit of heat shrink on just to cover the unravelling braid!

At some point, if someone here could help me with quick disconnects, coz I haven't the foggiest. Still a long way off that, but thought I'd ask.

Many thanks.

Thanks chaps.

Next issue - pumps. Here are the two D5 laing pumps with Alphacool pump tops attached. My question is, I see there are 4 holes, and I presume the ones with arrows (first picture) are the inlet/outlet? Or can you use any one of these four holes?

Not really sure - would help if Alphacool produced a picture or something.

Here they are

Thanks chaps.

Oh, and this is my attempt at sleeving (I actually burnt a fan whilst applying heat shrink and watching Taken at the same time). I will sleeve extensions another time because I just don't have the time at moment. Maybe next summer's project.

Just need to finish putting water block on second GPU and then will check mobo posts and CPU and RAM work outside box. Getting some screws tomorrow to sort out rads properly. RAM blocks and tubing arrive tomorrow, as well as some more 45 degree angled compressed fittings. Have a feeling I will need more comp fits for the RAM.

Everything put on hold until tomorrow - no stock heatsink with 3930k! Can't beleive it. Have had to buy a basic heatsink instead - just to check mobo POSTS and RAM and CPU recognised. What a royal PITA.

Guys, have I completely buggered up the rad and fan orientation. Looking at others' builds, they all have fans on the front side of the rad. Originally I wanted to pull air to the back of the case but I think I have done this wrong. Don't laugh - it's my first time doing this!

Ok but i'm not planning on having two fans per rad space, which you suggest. was only going to run one set of fans on each rad, so maybe moving them to the front of the rad is the way to do it?
