My girlfriend hogs our internet connection...

Looking into a second line myself and it is £130 (I assume from Openreach).

If you then went with a BB provider that lets you pay the 12months line rental upfront for a discount and then get the usual new customer half price BB deals it's going to be quite reasonable :)
 
1) Inject her in the neck with a horse tranquilizer.
2) Whilst she's sleeping, wrap her to the top of a table with clingfilm.
3) Lay out pictures of all the possible games you could play more successfully if she didn't use netflix.
4) Cut her cheek and take a blood slide.
5) Stab her in the chest.
6) ???
7) Profit.

Any decent girlfriend would happily rewatch a show with you.

I'd hate to be with some selfish woman who cant even make effort to share time with you .

  • Find a way to limit her connection, although our internet is so bad it wouldn't really help a lot.

Yeah, baths a nightmare for 'proper' internet - even in the city...

I could download dexter for you, put it on a hard disk and drop it over.. i live just down the road and have 120MB cable...
 
Several people have come up with the ideal solution, download the episodes during the day and have them ready to watch so she doesn't need the internetz!
