I honestly don't know how to put this, I'm more looking to whinge than anything else.

I'm decorating at the moment and my bedroom furniture is all over the place, which is what I've decided to blame for last night. I somehow managed to roll out of bed while asleep and smack the side of my head on a radiator. This is the first time I've ever done something like this, as in literally turned over and fell out of bed.

It isn't even a light bump, the universe was clearly conspiring against me. I think I hit the edge because I not only bonked my noggin but cut half of my forehead open. My freshly painted walls are now covered in blood and at least one handprint reminiscent of a bad police drama.

I now look like a swollen victim of a car crash followed by a knife attack, my bedroom needs repainting again, and I have a concussion.

You got a concussion from falling out of bed? Where do you live? The penthouse of the Shard?

A sober little statistic...

In the UK, about 20 people die from falling out of bed each year. Falls from beds are a significant cause of injury and death, particularly among older adults and infants.

I dropped something off the side of my bed the other week, rolled over to pick it up…and almost poked my eye out on the corner of the bedside table.

Don't feel bad, I constantly knock or cut my head on the oven extractor hood. I have done this too many times to count despite knowing it is there and a hazard to me (the only one tall enough and main household cook).

I have spent a couple of years sleeping on the sofa and have fallen off of it a few times, mostly due to bad dreams or cramp :(:p.

pics?

Only jesting, that sounds ****, fair rant to have.
If you have genuinely been concussed/knocked out a hospital visit might be a good idea.

Omg yes!!! Those ******* things!

Head wounds, even relatively minor ones, produce a horrifying amount of bleeding. I had a minor split on my scalp and the amount of blood coming out definitely made me think that I was going to bleed out completely.

When I was a student I slept in a bed that was smaller than a single. I woke up in the middle of the night to reach for a glass of water and some how headbutted the bedside table.

I gave myself a black eye. Oh and that morning was the fist day at my new job. Nobody believed me.
