My Mum

Sorry to hear that.

It definitely brings it home, though. My mum had a similar experience when my grandfather died a while ago now. She'd rung up to speak to my grandmother and as it was getting late, she said she'd speak to her dad the day after. As it happened, he died in his sleep that night quite unexpectedly. I think that's one thing that she massively regrets now, which is sad. It's only really after someone's gone that you realise just how much they did and meant to you.

Firstly, I'm very sorry to hear your news.

Secondly, can I just say she must have done a splendid job at raising you.

This is clear from the profound tone of your message and eloquent way you share this sad news with the OC UK forum members.

She must be very proud of you.

Hussman.

Thanks Hussman that means a lot, I have never really writen anything like this on a forum but i felt i should at least write it down and see how i feel.

I'm really sorry to hear that.

I bet your mum was proud to have such a caring son who looked after her like you did.

R.I.P.

Adam,

Please accept my condolences - you have never spoken to me about this before and I have known you for 8 years. I knew your Mum was ill but never to the extent you have described.

I have sent you a txt I refrained from calling because I was not sure what state you are in. I only saw you yesterday at footie and everything was fine.

Here anytime mate.

Darren
