My neighbour has an Amazon echo dot - and i can connect to it (no pin code)

I don't think they are muslims, cannot be 100% sure, but they are British-White - so statistically quite unlikely.

I'm shocked it doesn't have a pin code

There was a network printer on my street that for nearly a year didn't have any kind of password/pin I hear it got all kinds of abuse before they wised up.

No. Siri.

He can't get Alexa to do anything apart from play sounds. So if he plays a recording asking the neighbours phone to set an alarm at 5am then there is a reasonable chance he has an iPhone within distance.

Could he play sounds to get Siri (if a device is around) to play sounds that give commands back to Alexa? :D

EDIT: That would really mess with a neighbour's mind if it seemed like the devices were holding a conversation with each other :O

EDIT2: Oh apparently that has already been done.

Ahh, I'm with you now you evil genius :D

I've just found out my neighbour (who I thought it was) 100% does have an echo dot. I just told my mates on whatsapp group chat we have about it, and he said hold on and confirmed - he is friends with the daughter of my neighbours, and he asked if her parents have an echo dot, she confirmed. (She doesn't live there btw)

Play some of the worst novelty records...

Mr Blobby
Tellitubbies say eh oh
I wanna be a hippy (Technohead or Smurfs version)
Cartoons / Witch Doctor
Scatman John
Crazy Frog
Yellow Polka Dot Bikini
Hampsterdance
Bob the Builder
etc :-)

Nah, subtle is the way to go. Find a recording of a slow metronome online ... and then play it back quietly. Over (a long) time make it slightly louder and then slightly quieter and so on ....

.... drive them mad ...

Sorry to be a party proper but you can't play music from a phone over an echo dot. You can't do anything without voice control.

A full Echo can be used as a speaker though.

Audio of a child screaming for help at midnight should do the trick. Have this child use their names too, which presumably you know, for extra points.
