Hi Everyone.
I don't very often Post but have been reading the forums for a long time now and i fancied putting my car up and sharing the strange power findings.

The Car
Audi TTS Quattro 2.0T 2008
0 - 60 5.4 secs
BHP... 268
Torque.. 258 ftb
Top Speed 155mph

Well I've had it for a few weeks now and i love it to bits,I think i got a little to use to the power and started to think she maybe under performing.
So i took it to the rolling road,Now it was suppose to do 258 ftb torque and 268 BHP
Here is is on the rollers.


And this was the result that came back

312 ftb torque 295 bhp ????

I think the last owner may have mapped it !

What do you think.
 
I actually quite like these - they look really good in TT-S form.

It doesnt seem hugely more powerful over standard so I doubt its been remapped, probably a **** dyno?
 
Not sure wouldn't a map likely show bigger gains? It may just be a case of the rolling road lottery, perhaps the car is producing a little over standard and the rest is made up for by the way the figures are worked?

Hard to tell I guess, could chcmeck audi sites and see available remaps/gains from them cant see it though
 
I actually like the leather too - makes a nice change over black on black! I think with the rest of the cabin being quite dark and the car being dark that you can quite easily get away with a flash of something a little more out there!

Yeah there are other cars that try this and can't pull it off at all - the RX8 for example. Hideous coloured leather seats :o

Possibly mate, but seems a little to high,and he did calibrate the dyno
and he did 5 power runs all with the same results

a revo map shows similar changes to my if it had that map on it.

I'm not a VAG fan myself, but I agree it's rather nice (excluding the orange inserts :))

Is it pretty much a two seater or can humans fit in the back?

Not sure on the map, I would have thought you would have over 320 with a map.
 
That is a really nice looking car you have there, If the TT RS was not so expensive I would have one over my 911. They map to well over 400 BHP / 550 Nm!

But over 30k for a TT is just too much money even with an amazing engine.

TTRS was way out of my budget,all though i could change my pop up spoiler
to the Static TTRS one at a hefty cost.
But i do love how the audi spoiler comes up and down like the porsche's.
