Sharp bits usually aren't detected untill it's too late!
 
I got a similar case as my first case when i built my first PC a couple of years ago. I thought it looked great and put loads of led fans in etc to make it look "modded" and was very proud of myself lol. Everybody who saw it said it looked good apart from my dad who said it looked like a karaoke machine :mad: :D .

I did all sorts of mods to it including painting the inside black and other mods and as it only cost £15 to buy it didn't matter if they went wrong. But i soon got bored of it and went for an Akasa eclipse (which i think looks good).

LOL this was my rig and i thought it looked great at the time. I think its way ott now though.
 
You're a brave man, posting that here, in PC7-Central. That doesn't make it any better, but have an award for bravery. :p
 
it's what you like and that's all that matters, if i was younger it might be something i might like but being an old fuddy duddy i prefer more of a minimalist look, just enjoy it :)
 
Mark A - I know how you feel, blue cathodes, flashing lights and all were the upmost bling :D Still got my Zorro case sat here next to me (got it for free), only until my chieftec is finished.
 
Dude this is your first PC build (If I've followed the thread right) So go for the alienware lookin case, It looks awesome

When i had my first build i went for same sorta thing, summit a bit different and looks awesome. The case i have no is awesome, yeah there are certain things that bug me but you wont find that out until u get one.

Just try to ignore any remarks on this sort of forum about it being OTT or crappy case. Everyone on here goes for performance. Doesnt matter if your case is black and doesnt match, if its overclocked, and 8800GTS cards in it then its all gd ;)

But seriously dude, just do what you wanna do, no1 on here has really said, that case is crap, it will break within weeks of using it. So go for it!!

frankly, thats a load of crap. if that were the case we wouldnt have so many members with silverstones or lian li's or any of the 1000's of other *stylish* cases. its not just about performance, at all.
 
I kinda like your case.

I'd get it just to annoy people. Just out of principle of that fact that it doesnt really matter what other people think. Other people are losers anyway. I'd take it to Lans and just plug it in right in the centre of the room. I'd sellotape barbie's all over it and maybe put some tinsle along the edges. Also, i'd probably get some kind of USB siren that i could plug in and attach to the back that just went woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo a lot, incessently, all day. Maybe make it really quiet so that they could just about hear it but it wasnt loud enoguh to be imposing.

People keep forcing their opinions on you about your case, i think you should force your case upon people. Dont just be different dude, do it obnoxiously.

Rubbish, my Lian Li in my eyes at least looks a thousand times better than the case you or the OP posted. Obviously that is down to the person who owns it but the build quality and design is not - both of those the Lian Li wins hands down.
 
Everyone's first case is a bit crap tbh :D

My first one was this:

It had awful cooling, 8cm side intake, no front intake, 6cm rear exhaust.

I then moved to the Sonata 1, then onto my current P180.

Performance first folks :D
