My New Child

I hope that was written with the intention of being tongue in cheek. It teaches the absolute bare minimum and is only scratching the surface of "everything".

They teach you until you know how to be safe and keep other people safe, then they pass you. From there it's all experience. I really don't think I'll have any problems, I'm not daft and wouldn't risk anything to impress my mates. To impress them I'll just sit on it - stationary :p

Wrong, you can't do that without 'real' experience.
After I passed my CBT I was very cautious on the road and my first journey to my grandparents house was a nightmare, lane changing, blind spots, filtering, indicating, the lot...a CBT is basically a preliminary check to make sure you can at least ride the thing before they let you out.
