I think that silver CD player ruins the retro look of the interior, but other than that it seems like a very nice car, congrats!

What happened to the Corvette in your sig, I thought they were meant to be super fun and ultra reliable? Why did that go?

Oddly enough I was thinking the same today - I do have a black Kenwood in box here so I might switch it out and see if it looks better.

The Alpine that's there as well has seens some action (worn buttons) so could well do with replacing, maybe.

Corvette was great but the money I wanted to spend on it making it mine and detailing it went on the transmission rebuild some while back, so I was just getting bored of it - plus I've had 3 now so multiply boring :p

Will have another one, when I've got the time, space and money to spare building something special :)

And yes Taken, the very same! Came good in the end :D

Also BMW cloth/bolster seems to be stupidly hard wearing. My cloth literally shows no signs of wear after 130k.

Infact..the cloth and bolster in my Focus looked worse after 50 :eek:
 
No, no LSD and not missing it either - it's my daily so don't miss that edge.....Past 3 cars have had LSDs so had that fun anyway :)

It's no ZOMG drift ****, just a nice car I can enjoy and use. LSD wouldn't serve any purpose in frequent daily use, although I could always add one if I wanted too I guess! :)

Yes, AFAIK the splines and shafts are the same (it would actually be easier to drop the whole back axle setup off a sport and fit it complete like I did with my Sierra.
 
Love E30's. First car I bought myself looked very similar to that but was red.

If you're fitting a new stereo then it has to be a Blaupunkt :p

What exactly is LSD?

I like the car, a family member had one of those back in the day, it was red though and didn't have that "thing" to it like the white one does!

Will all 170BHP be available after all these years too?
