saves fiddling at all.

could stick Windows server on there if you really want 'easy', I think 2k and 2K3 both handle Power PC's, but don't quote me.

if you need a home for ANYTHING, i'h happy to pay postage :D

There is the Linux client that works with Linux kernels and most, if not all, BSD kernels. The problem is that the CPUs in this machine are not x86. The only PowerPC binaries available are for OS X. It might be interesting to try to hack the Darwin branch of the Mach kernel to work on it so that you could run the OS X client on it. However, that might be more work than it's worth.

Ark... i sense 4am nights, stuck staring at 24 screens worth of code looking for that one damm syntax, that single misplaced comma...


rather you than me :p i've done my share of kernal hacking (still have the scars)
