ouch dmpoole, poor little buggas lol, never thought of getting anymore?
I bet that guys arm was destroyed letting all them snakes nibble his arm, do small snake bites hurt much?

The 3rd hid under the two that were dead but about 3 months later it escaped and instead of finding it behind a radiator (as usual) it found a hole in the floorboards and decided to live under there. My youngest daughter saw it one morning and held onto its tail before it wriggled free and went down the hole and we never saw it again :(

The bloke told me another funny story.
He was called out to a guy who had bought a secondhand vivarium off a bloke who kept a tarantula but it had died.
He said that he was sure there was something in the vivarium with his new lizard and true enough he lifted up the bricks and there was a tarantula.
The original guy didn't know that tarantulas shed their skin and he thought the skin was his dead spider :D

They litrally outgrow their skin so they shed when they are growing. They usually shed about once a month usually but sometimes longer depends how fast their growing and they shed less regularly when they are fully grown.
