My PC is underperforming!

Why am I getting low fps in Warzone/Fortnite on LOW settings? My pc specs are as follows Geforce RTX 3070 (overclocked with msi afterburner), Ryzen 9 3900 (over clocked to 4.25Ghz), MSI B450 Gaming plus max motherboard, 16GB 3600mhz Ram. This results in me getting 90fps on the lowest settings in warzone and fortnite. I have adjusted all my settings in-game as well. Any help would be much appreciated. (Note: All my components temps are fine). Yes Vsync is switched off. And I've noticed people with similar specs as me are getting around 160-170fps - what am I doing wrong. I've followed a million fps boost guides - changing my Nvidia control panel settings but nothing has helped, I am honestly get so frustrated at the moment as I have tried EVERYTHING including reversing my overclock. NOTHING has worked. (Note: My monitor is 1080p @ 240hz)

Edit: It does sometimes go to 100fps.

I would run a benchmark to make sure you're getting similar scores to other people, it may then indicate which is underperforming.
I just ran Furmark and Superposition my results are as follows:

- Furmark gpu stress test (ran for 7 minutes on 1080p): FPS(min:219, max:228, avg:224)

- Superposition fps benchmark test (ran on 1080p DirectX): Scored 22145 (min: 110.61, avg: 180.63, max: 233.83

1) Do a clean reinstall of drivers and make sure you erase old ones.
2) Check two separate plugs from power supply to video card.
3) Identify power supply, because some people just plonk in a video card and expect it to run on a basic 350 watt budget model.
4) Check if graphics card is seated correctly.
5) Is RTX enabled in any game??? That will slow an RTX card right down.
6) Enable DLSS if available.
7) Reinstall Windows may assist but unlikely.
I will try this and update soon

I can find some extreme 1080p scores and they're between 8500 and 10000 (with a big overclock).
I have no idea why the score was that high, seemed quite strange to me as well when I clicked compare results and I saw people with much much better specs than me only scoring around 18000. Do you perhaps think I should re-run the test?

Seems you are turning your settings down and getting cpu limited, try turning some up a little at a time and see.
1080p can get very cpu limited and by upping the settings you put your beast of a 3070 to work.

Run gpuz in the back ground and check your usage
Which settings should I change? Okay I will run that in the background!

Make sure game boost is disabled in the bios.

Load up HWinfo 64 and post a pic of it so we can see if anything looks off.

Single core score seems low multi score is goood so You need to check if your cpu is boosting .

Memory what speed are you running aand did you enable xmp profile in the bios ?
XMP is enabled.

Also I was running task manager on my second monitor while I played and here are some things I noted:

CPU: Boosts up to a frequency of slightly above 4.1ghz with a usage in-game of around 60% (No drastic visible spiking)
Memory: 12.2GB/16GB of memory is used with a usage in-game of around 70%
GPU: 6GB/16GB GPU Memory used with a usage fluctuating between 35-55% although while loading into the game (where you about to jump off the plane) it spikes to 90% and then goes down

Hope this helps someone come up with a solution

What did the sensors tab show on gpuz?
Maxed out you should be getting >100fps on warzone
Can't say about fortnite as not installed on my system.
If your gpu usage is only 35-55% then you have a bottleneck somewhere.
In gpuz about mid right is Bus interface see what that says and then click the ? and start the render test and then see what it says after the @

It's not maxing out!
I don't really play FN either, I installed just as a 2nd source to check my fps.
The GPU load is on 50-65% all the time, Only on the plane cut-scene when when you enter wz it goes to around 90% but then immediately drops.
It says "x16 3.0"
