My Photographs

254 & 259 are my picks, I like them a lot.

As a token criticism I'd have to something about the CA in 258. I'm usually not picky about things like that but for me it crosses the boundary of distraction.

Hah yeah, I forgot to remove it. Not that happy with that shot anyway tbh. I just missed the critical moment when the deer were directly in the sunlight, but that tends to happen when you have the camera in one hand and a crazy dachshund in the other trying to get to the deer!

Oh I dunno, I think that sometimes these things can benefit or at least compliment a specific image. 258 has that hazy 70s look to it, and that is a look you see a lot of back then.

Shot from car when I was sat in traffic earlier. No real compositon but I kinda liked the light inside the bus and the different faces onboard.

I always like these sort of photos, with a miserable weather aspect at night, with wet miserable looking people in the light. It reminds me of the old pre war films, although the processing is that washed look I'm not keen on as it seems to steal away too much detail. I have to admit, I'd be tempted to clone out all the text & adverts on the bus as that seems to remove the seriousness of the image for me.

Is that glass reflection at the top right of 259? Really my only nitpick!

Yeah, I would have preferred if it didn't have any adverts or maybe one that was more edgy but I tend spend most of my time in LR rather than PS so don't clone things out very often. I have a couple of black and white presets that I use, this one filled in the adverts quite a lot, which is why, I think it did ok in this shot even thought its quite a cliché processing style at the moment.

Yes it is, they were everywhere up there but I kinda of like it, maybe if it was a bit lower it would look like the guy was looking out of the window, almost like a double exposure.

Amazing processing on all of these. I'd love to know how to get these effects. Almost 'unclear' :)

Such bad weather all the time since I got the D7000, managed to get a walk in when the sun was out in golden hour last weekend, that's where most of the photos so far have come from. Have to say, the 35mm 1.8 G is an awesome lens for the money, even though mine has massive back focus!
