My question for today is ...How do 'you' reward yourself?

Well....tonight I simply walked to the bottom of my garden.

Sometimes, nature just makes you realise that things aren't important.

What a fantastic view.

I've clocked a few like that recently as I've been waking up at my normal weekday "get up for work" time at the weekend and the sunrises have been amazing.

Very little these days, except from a new watch recently.

I try to put my money into assets rather than liabilities as most of the stuff I found myself buying wasn't making me any happier, nor was it needed.

I'm finding that these days.... "why the hell did I buy that?"

I stopped myself from buying some very expensive toys recently. Still feel jittery but hoping it'll pass!

Had plenty of those moments and I definitely still get the itch.

Jesus man...

Something up?

It seems like a pretty negative way to live but I get reward from knowing I'm putting my money into something worthwhile that should pay off.

Sadly this really. Think I get more excitement from doing something productive with my money, like buying a rental property or investing somewhere else etc.
Try and do at least one 'experience' each month with the family (usually a holiday or a getaway).

Just right now, I have about $800 in amazon vouchers accumulating as there is not much I want to buy. :o

Kebabs.

I order myself a huge donor kebab with chips and garlic sauce to treat myself.

And I've had a fair few kebabs in my time.

Beef Jerky and a cold beer :D

Bigger rewards will be a PS4 game, or some new tech for myself or my wife.

Total super massive reward will be a new car or something, although that happens almost never. Well not since 2002 anyway (company cars aside) :p
