my second 6950 goes to 100% gpu load just after boot

Its a driver bug people not the cards.
check out the massive 100% gpu usage on desktop thread on guru and also on amd catylist forums.

and they still havent fixed it cause there a bunch of monkeys.

happens on my 5970 aswell.
 
Didn't realize that it was definitely a driver issue, but I knew it wasn't a card issue, least o'toole who have two discrete cards can sell one if necessary

Try this dont know if it works but its worth a shot. The links was on a thread just like this over at AMD

ALSO

The laterst Firefox Beta caused this 99% issue for me, now on chrome with no GPU issues
Just try Google Chrome and see if it stops

Sorted my problem, however installing that new driver thingy borked my frame rates, so installing all my games AGAIN....

Oh and anyone else getting constant CTD's with BC2?
