Hi mate!
Im going to be doing this on my q-pack case and i was wondering how you got the screws to fix the mesh in place because i dont know what you mean by stick pads and screwing it through that?
Well basically, the window that was already on the lanboy was about half a cm thick. So i had to pad out the mesh to make it a bit bigger around the screw holes so that the mesh is pushed up against the side.
You know the hard drive cage, people say it blocks the air flow from the front fan, has anyone ever tried to drill multiple holes in it to allow the air to flow or something along the same lines which allows air flow?

I have considered that, it is harder than you might think Although the mesh I have is steel not allu
Edit: I am going to be painting the Lanboy Black and buying proper meshx/modders mesh so ignore how crap this is. Was done in 5 minutes with no tools so consider it a mock up.
I think the only mod to the case when i get it will be going down to the local B&Q for some hex mesh and replacing the front grill
Plan is to make a frame with mounting holes out of some thin lengths of steel which will be soldered then the mesh cut to size and then soldered to the frame and then all screwed in and voila, should all work out nice.
Does anyone know why its taking so long for the S.Lanboy to come back into stock? Is it out of production and in are we in anticipation of a third reincarnate of the case.
Just done the rear and front, front looks rubbish because...you will never see it Got some mesh on the way, will order some more blowhole trim and then get the paint
Done with a pair of wire cutters and a £5 dremel \__/
