I've been using tomtom on my n73 for about 9 months now and it's great.

i am using route 66 on my n95 , and go to say works a treat , seems to work a lot more efficient than the nokia maps ,
if you can get route 66 you wont be unhappy with it , put it this way i have just come back off a holiday with the family and it has got me there and back no problemo , 300 miles with out a glitch.

lolism said:thanks Alex, does it cost to update etc? I heard you have to pay for nokia MAPS?
alexslane said:Hey mate ,
route 66 will work with the internal gps not a problem make sure that you use the version (Route66.Mobile.v7.3.486) . now getting it installed can be a little tricky < it took me a little while to be honest.
yeah the nokia maps does cost thats why i opted for the route 66 compaired to nokia maps and just to confirm i have had a play with tomtom on my mates vario2 and there pretty much the same , all the hype over tomtom verus the rest is a bit of banter i feel as we did a route in the same car with both working and they both showed the same options .
if you add me to msn i will be happy to help you with this no problems at all i got ton up on tons of free apps and maybe the odd route 66 present for you i am sure![]()
Look forward to speaking to you
