Serial biter of nails and finger skin, checking in. Looking to quit and hoping I find strength in my delinquent brethren.

I used to bite mine between the ages of probably 11 and 13 not sure why but one day I just decided to stop and haven't done so from that day.

Can't stand grotty nails though, don't paint them or anything like that but I do keep them short and clean on a regular basis. (I've actually been complimented on them by women a couple of times which I'm not really sure is a good thing or not).

It is a disgusting habit and sometimes I find myself doing it at work when I'm under the cosh. God knows what my colleagues think of me.

Never bite mine as I like some length on them so I can use them to empty my nose when the traffic lights are on red.

I used to bite them but never more than I would trim them with clippers. Now I clip them exclusively unless I'm out and tear one.

My ex bit them horrifically. Really, really unattractive.
