I like normal names, like David, Daniel, Michael, Catherine, Claire etc. I don't like names which can be interchangable between the sexes, my kids will all have distinctly boy or girl names .

Whatever you do don't pick a rare/special name, just pick a normal one.

Why? Whats wrong with a special name. The world would be more intersting if lots of people didnt all share the same name. Its a distinct lack of creativity.

Im called David, and although I like the name, i do wish i had a bit of unique one. Something with a bit of meaning and uniqueness.

The only thing i dont agree with is silly names like Apple. Thats annoyingly unoriginal.
