As the title suggests. Going out with a girl in about an hours time, still don't know where to go...

Is is too cheap?

2nd date by the way, went to a gig together first time round.

Nandos hasn't really arrive up here yet so don't know how cheap it is but I wouldn't advise it. Bit messy innit.

If she spent a lot of time doing herself up she is hardly going to want to ruin that by looking a state tearing through a chicken.

well wagas and nandos are right next door to each other in brum, i'll ask her what she'd prefer, she's told me she loves nandos, but like you say, i do have reservations about it being cheap!

and yes, i know i should be taking her to the bedroom, i've washed my sheets especially! she's a lucky lady!

Hope she's not a member on here, or you've just blown your cover!!

Not really a nando's fan....

Is there an "Ask" near you...its a much classier place.
Funnily enough Ask and Nando's are right next to each other in Bristol.

Nandos is great, but the problem is its finger food chicken and its almost impossible to enjoy it without making a mess :) I would say only go there if you are already comfortable in each others company.

Another vote here for zizzi . Great chain.

Another vote for Ask, took the Irish there on our first date and I still havent been dumped over a year later.

Saying that, we did get through a KFC family feast between us once :p

I say it's fine. In-fact, if it's the one next to UGC on broad street I've taken 2 dates there myself :P.

It is a bit cheap, but it's fun!. Compared to say 'bank' in brindle place.. (expensive but dull as hell).

Actually i think it depends allot on the the girl in question. If she has already said she likes Nandos its fine. I would be more likely to take a boisterous outgoing type to Nandos than the quiet revered type.

If in doubt, ask her!
