nando's is nothing like kfc, both in taste and nutritional value.

I always thought it was pretty nice!

Nothing like mcdonalds... they serve meat in nandos not crushed up bones fat and god knows what else that makes you feel like crap after!

But if you wanna take somewhere a bit nicer id say chiquitos, with the meal drink and desert you will end up spening about 35 then as apposed 15? but its nothing too nice to make it look like your trying to hard!

Oh and make her pay tbh
 
A date's a date, don't really matter on "expensive" or "cheap". If bringing her out to a meal and she finds places like nandos cheap, she's probably materialistic.

But if it's atmostphere, I find nandos good enough for a quick meal but in my area (Gunwharf) it gets quite busy and noisey for it to be like a romantic date.

Personally, if she says she likes nandos, 8/10 times, she'll enjoy a date there. If not, you can always learn to cook something special and have a meal indoors :)
 
As you are going for some chicken may as well roll out an old classic, she will be putty in your hands after hearing this. GUARENTEED!

wtf wouldnt you want to go to nandos? too cheap? get real. nandos is fun, they encourage you to get messy with the food. tbh having a laugh is more important to me than how much id spend on a meal for a lady.

so true, its a 'safe' environment which encourages some fun by all in there, plenty to talk about even if its the weirdos on another table who are eating like cavemen or whatever :D

I have to agree with this. I've had great nights out in places like Nandos or Pizza Hut, and awful nights in much more expensive restaurants. Are women really so shallow that it matters how much a meal costs? I always feel really bad when a guy spends a lot on a meal for me.
 
I'd be more bothered by it being a crap place, period. Nando's has never been a good place to go for me. They are tacky, messy, and the general quality of their restaurants (and food) is just crap.
 
Avoid chained outlets. They are soulless, and tend to result in the kiss of death.* A basic search would reveal somewhere unique, more memorable, and cost effective in a non-cheap fashion.

*Especially coffee shops!
 
**UPDATE**

didn't go to nando's in the end, lol.

we went out to a restaurant/bar place called Bella Italia, they have an outside area where we ate which was good cos it was a lovely evening. i had a really nice pasta dish, came to about £30 for the 2 of us with drinks, perfect really.

had a few drinks around town afterwards, then back to mine for a bottle of wine. :)

top notch!
 
She says she loves Nando's so I don't think you're gonna have a problem there. It's nice food...so what if it's cheap.
If you really want to shell out then check out the Mailbox. There are some really nice places in there.
