Nando's on a date? Yay or nay?

Actually i think it depends allot on the the girl in question. If she has already said she likes Nandos its fine. I would be more likely to take a boisterous outgoing type to Nandos than the quiet revered type.

If in doubt, ask her!

Let's go to Nando's!
We can eat with our handos!
It'll be better than going to a gig to see some bandos!

It doesnt matter where you go or how much it costs... If she likes Nandos whats the problem, I dont believe the point in a "date" is to eat food, its what you do when you're not eating.

Take her wherever you want. If she's the sort of girl who shuns you for not picking an upmarket place to eat she probably wasn't too special to start with.

EDIT

What he said ^^^

I wouldn't worry about price, but Nando's is very much an in and out kind of place. I think you'd be better off taking her somewhere more relaxed, where you can take your time over the meal and have a long chat together.

Having said that, which girl can resist a man who can handle his extra hot sauce? :p

To be honest, speaking from a girls point of view it doesnt matter where you go on a date, unless it was like a special occasion or something. Especially if its only a second date, its more about getting to know the other person, as your first date was a gig, I doubt you had much of a chance to chat there.

I personally wouldnt mind any of the suggestions and wouldnt consider Nandos "cheap"

Plus if you start worrying about going somewhere based on the cost of it, your setting yourself an uphill struggle as in you will have to keep bettering it.

It doesnt really matter where you take her. As long as its a decent restaurant with nice food, rather than a 'take away' it will be fine.

Zizi's, Nando's etc are all nice places to eat. Im sure she wont be expecting an expensive dinner anyway.

If you do feel its too cheap, go for a nice chinese or something.

how do you get a date without fluffing up or looking like a tool..
I wish I knew.
*sigh* I havent been out on a "date" for nearly a year now.

I would say no, not because its cheap but because it is generally messy and as mentioned isn't a place you can go in and take your time, you are herded in and out asap.

Wonder where he went.

He is hopefully eating some beast

At Nandos of course

I think he's insulting your girlfriend. :p ;)

Nandos seems like a fun place to go to eat at start a date. I think it's a decent idea tbh.

Like if you go to a restaurant like Ask or whatever, it seems formal, but the atmosphere at the Nandos near me is fun, which is how you'll want to start your date...

I said start for a reason, obviously it needs to get a bit hotter later on. :p

Opps just noticed my mistake :p

I wouldn't on a first 'eating out' date... you will always be remembered as 'the one who took her to Nando's on the first date'.

Saying that.. I went to nandos on the 5th date... thats after we found out that we both liked it and it was next door to the cinema ;)

Plus Nandos is eating with fingers... not something I would like to do if impressing on a first/second date.

Oh well its done now - where did he go?
