Hi,

I currently have a WD Cloud 3TB, and I am looking for some storage back up for my offices files that will be taken to a separate location. Would I be better to get another NAS drive and use the WD Cloud 3TB as a backup? Or would a normal External Storage be fine for the purposes (documents and photos).

A lot would be dependant on how frequently you need to be backing up the data. I.e. if it's daily, then plugging in an external drive will eventually be a chore.

If the documents are relatively small, and your upload/download speeds are decent, then i would opt for one of the major CSP players.

I would need to backup around once a week, I know the inital backup will take a while roughly 1.5TB of documents and photos. I dont really want cloud storage due to nature of the documents.
